Indiana 250 is IBJ Media’s list of the 250 most influential business leaders in the state of Indiana. We are currently seeking nominations for the 2024 list of Indiana 250 across the following industries:
- Health Care and Life Sciences
- Energy and Agriculture
- Hospitality and Entertainment
- Financial Services
- Technology and Media
- Manufacturing, Logistics and Transportation
- Real Estate and Architecture
- Law
- Education, Not-for-Profits and Arts
- Philanthropy and Civic Leadership

Who is eligible for consideration?
We are seeking business and community leaders that are influential either statewide or in specific Indiana communities or regions. When we use the word “influential,” we mean that others in the state, community or an industry look to the individual for leadership. We are looking for the people who are making the biggest difference in Indiana and who are known to be influential, visionary, and impactful in their work. Current elected officials are not eligible. We won’t choose more than three people from any one organization, and we also won’t be limited to those who were nominated. Advertising will not influence the selections.
When will the list be released?
The list will be announced at an event on July 17, 2024.
What is the nomination process?
Nominations will be reviewed by the publisher and editors at Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business and Indiana Lawyer. We plan to consult informally with business and community leaders from across the state as well as experts in various industries as we put together the list. But the decisions—which we acknowledge will be subjective—will be made within IBJ Media.
